@gpkesley…@florian beat me to it! If you wanted me to do it in Python, I would need to learn a bit more, but doing it in bash is relatively simple. But it is a good exercise to try with Python when I get better.
Nice, glad @gpkesley saved you from the impending doom of putting your own files into /usr/bin. In general, you should only make files in your /Users/dngra_000 directory. Going out of that is certain death.
@zedshaw…that’s what I always do. Copying them over was merely for troubleshooting. Many thanks for all of the assistance.
