Would this be a good book to learn syntax for MySQL, as I’m having to learn it this subject for uni. That’s why I’m jumping all over the shop. Master of none.

How detailed do you need to go? I generally point people at Joe Celko’s books but I’d hit Amazon and grab something MySQL specific.

I seem to be having more troubles with joins and subqueries with tables greater than 2. Just had a look at Joe’s books and have a funny feeling they are way out of my league. I will send what I am having trouble with via email as all the options to attach document is greyed out.
They are really tough. I suggest using subqueries instead.
